About Madeline

Madeline is thrilled to join the WYCF as the Associate Director of Philanthropy. She has been lucky enough to spend her career serving in roles for nonprofit organizations and spent the better part of her twenties working for Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary, a wildlife conservation nonprofit in rural Virginia. There, she worked as a wildlife rehabilitator, community educator, mopping extraordinaire, operations manager, phone-picker-upper, and every other task that needed attention. She served as the Associate Director from 2017 until 2020, when she moved out to Wyoming for a new chapter of life. In Laramie, Madeline joined the UW Foundation and worked in several capacities supporting fundraising efforts, and greatly enjoyed her time there. She is continuing her education with UW and is looking forward to meeting more people throughout the state in her role at WYCF. She considers it an honor and a privilege to work for this organization. Philanthropy has two roots in ancient Greek, translating to ‘love’ and ‘human.’  Madeline thinks that the love of humanity is a great guideline for life and work alike. She delights in time with friends, eating tasty treats, thinking about outer space, and consuming any form of content about outer space (regardless of accuracy). She is both of her brothers’ favorite sister and is a proud auntie of Mimo and Wren.
