About Laura

Laura is a lifelong Wyomingite, and has called the Southwest, Northeast, and now Southeast corners of the state home. She has always been interested in history and culture and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming. After graduating, Laura began fulfilling her passion of public education and outreach in the museum field. In 2022 she joined the Wyoming Community Foundation as their Communication Coordinator. Her favorite part of the work she does for the Foundation is utilizing social and digital media tools to connect with fellow Wyomingites. In her free time she spends time at home crafting, upcycling, reading, and most importantly, cuddling with her dog. When Laura leaves the comforts of home, you can find her out and about at concerts, book stores, or on her paddleboard.
