About Laura

Laura is a lifelong Wyomingite and has called the Northeast, Southeast, and now Southwest corners of the state home. She has always been interested in history and culture and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming. After graduating, Laura began fulfilling her passion of public education and outreach in the museum field. In 2022 she joined the Wyoming Community Foundation as their Communications Coordinator. Her favorite part of the work she does for the Foundation is using social and digital media to connect with fellow Wyomingites. In her free time she spends time fixing up her 100+ year old house, crafting, reading, and most importantly, cuddling with her dog. When Laura leaves the comforts of home, you can find her out and about at concerts, thrift stores, or on her paddleboard.
