Originally from New Hampshire, Charlie moved to Lander, Wyoming sight unseen— except for the classic Lander photo from the Wikipedia page at the time. It was the dead of winter, 2011. He remembers driving through Jeffrey City and down Beaver Rim, barely seeing the road as the snow blew across the highway. It was not like anything he had ever seen before, and he was seriously thinking he had taken a wrong turn out of Casper because there was no town to be seen. Now many years later, Charlie couldn’t imagine being anywhere else and somehow knew at a young adult age, this is where he was meant to be. Charlie is new to the Development Team and is excited to use his relationship building skills he honed for a decade working as a strength and climbing coach for Wyomingites and people from around globe. When he’s not at work, you can find him out in Wyoming’s wide-open spaces, climbing, skiing, and hunting. He and his wife also enjoying tending to their little homestead with their gardens, chickens, cats, and renovating their 1887 home.
