About Micah

Micah works as the Associate Director of Policy at the Wyoming Women’s Foundation. In this role she enjoys advocating for programs and policies that best support Wyoming’s women, children and families. Micah’s path to the nonprofit world and to advocacy was not a straight one. She earned her bachelor’s degree in K-12 Art Education from Chadron State College, a small teaching college in Nebraska. She has taught, worked as an artist, served as the Director of Communications and of Programs at the Wyoming Community Foundation prior to moving to advocacy. Micah has a nine-year-old son who loves pretending and climbing, and a tech-loving partner who has run at least one mile every day for 15 years. Micah enjoys homemade chocolate chip cookies and almost any chance to get outside.
