Wyoming Intertie established the Wyoming Intertie Community Investment Program at WYCF to help support communities in which Wyoming Intertie, a transmission line that will connect the US eastern and western electric grids within the state of Wyoming, is being developed. These efforts underscore both Wyoming Intertie’s and WYCF’s commitment to fostering vibrant and resilient communities in Carbon, Albany, and Platte counties. Neither Wyoming Intertie, nor Grid United, the developer of Wyoming Intertie, select grant recipients.
