The Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) is pleased to announce that it has awarded over $200,000 in grants from the Wyoming Intertie Community Investment Program (“Community Investment Program”) to nonprofit organizations in Carbon, Albany, and Platte counties.
The grant awards for this round of funding by the Community Investment Program are as follows:
Carbon County
- Carbon County Fair Association - $2,155 for New Aluminum Signage
- Carbon County Senior Services, Inc. - $10,000 for the Senior Meal Program
- Hanna Elk Mountain Jr./Sr. High School CCSD#2 - $20,000 for H.E.M. Livestock Barn Infrastructure Improvement Project
- Memorial Hospital of Carbon County Foundation - $15,000 for Windy City Café Enhancements
- Saratoga Friends of the Library - $10,000 for Capital Improvements
- Wee Folks Place Day Training Center - $3,500 for General Operating
- Woodchoppers Jamboree and Rodeo - $20,000 for Rodeo Box Improvements
Albany County
- Ark Regional Services - $10,000 for Fine & Performing Arts Programming
- Cathedral Home for Children - $10,000 for the Community Resource Center
- Lincoln Community Center - $10,000 for General Operating
- Relative Theatrics - $10,000 to support Play/Write Programming
- SAFE Project - $10,000 for General Operating
- Skiers Nordic of Wyoming (SNOW) - $10,000 for Chimney Park Nordic Trail Grooming
Platte County
- Platte County Daycare / Kids Kastle - $10,000 for General Operating
- Platte County Fire District 2F - Palmer Canyon Fire Department - $23,976 for Mobile Fire Truck Radios
- Platte County School District #1 - $37,829 for Wheatland Middle School Fitness and Play Park
The application portal for the next round of funding from the Community Investment Program opened on September 15th, 2026, with a submission deadline of December 15th, 2026. Organizations in Abany, Carbon, and Platte counties are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or government entity, such as a local government, Tribal government, or school district. Non-501(c)(3) nonprofits may be eligible. Projects with creative and innovative approaches to community development and broad benefits to quality of life will be prioritized. Wyoming Intertie established the Wyoming Intertie Community Investment Program at WYCF to help support communities in which Wyoming Intertie, a transmission line that will connect the US eastern and western electric grids within the state of Wyoming, is being developed. These efforts underscore both Wyoming Intertie’s and WYCF’s commitment to fostering vibrant and resilient communities in Carbon, Albany, and Platte counties.
