About this Scholarship
This scholarship is to provide financial aid for students who desire an education from an accredited academic institution or trade school in the State of Wyoming, who desire an education degree with an intent in teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM). All education majors are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
Who is eligible?
Graduates of a Wyoming High School. Students who took a gap year are also eligible to apply
Institution: Any Wyoming Community College, University, or Trade School.
Field: Education
GPA: 2.5
Time: Full-time
What is the amount of the scholarship?
Up to $5,000 per year, for up to 4 years
What is the length of the scholarship?
4 years. Students must complete an annual renewal form, and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible
Essay questions and additional Materials:
Essay answers should be between 2,000 and 3,000 characters. Essay questions will become available after submission of the WYCF Common Scholarship Application.
- Essay: Describe the STEM field you are interested in and what career path it might lead you to. (500 words or less)
- Short Answer question: Please explain why you need financial assistance to further your education (250 words or less)
