About the Wyoming Community Foundation

Connecting people who care with causes that matter to build a better Wyoming. ®

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a nonprofit charitable 501(c)(3) organization that was created in 1989 by and for the people of Wyoming. With assets over $60 million, the Community Foundation has developed into a valuable philanthropic resource for Wyoming.

Three special features:

One: personalized service
We make giving easy and effective, accepting a wide variety of gifts and providing donors a number of charitable options. Donors may establish a fund in their name or the name of a loved one. In most cases, these gifts qualify for the maximum tax advantage under federal law.

Two: expertise
Our professional staff has an in-depth understanding of the issues, opportunities, and resources that shape our state and communities. We monitor all areas of community need - including human services, education, the environment, healthcare, the arts, and economic development.

Three: community leadership
We invest in the long term and bring people and organizations together, convening diverse voices to address local issues and opportunities. Our business is building communities.
